Solitude

So that’s how we live our lives. No matter how deep and fatal the loss,
no matter how important the thing that’s stolen from us –
that’s snatched right out of our hands – even if we are left completely
changed people with only the outer layer of skin from before,
we continue to play out our lives this way, in silence.
We draw ever nearer to our allotted span of time, bidding it farewell
as it trails off behind. Repeating, often adroitly,
the endless deeds of the everyday.
Leaving behind a feeling of immeasurable emptiness.

  1. The more I make my way around the internet, the more I do believe that there are a lot of lonely, hurting, friendless, well lack of true friendship, suffering people out in this world.

actually there’s lot of people out there, it just they don’t speak it out loud, but they write.
and since nowadays internet has been the medium to express the feeling more often than a conversation, yeah you’ll read that much as its written.

  2. It helps, but what I find also with the internet is, sometimes that there’s a disconnect.

Some people friend others with no intention of being friends. Others write stuff down hoping that people would always be there, you know constant.

I appreciate the net, but it shouldn’t only be the lifeline that we have or depend on.

I’m listening to some songs by Sister Hazel.

  3. You can say that again, but it’s not always the case. Some find it easier to speak freely about their feelings online with someone than in person with some people they know.

    I guess it depends.

Is someone bothering you? Referring to your status.

Agree with you, yeah sometimes its easier to speak with someone we barely know rather than people we know.
Yeah some asshole from the past.

  4. And now wants to be in the future. Some people should remain in the past.
